Dear Reader Friends:

Now that all three books in my Montana Creeds series have been published, I'm back home at the Triple L. But for all of you who have waited until you could read all three books in one gulp, you can find Logan, Dylan and Tyler all on sale now.

After touring to promote these books about three former rodeo cowboys--estranged brothers who come home to Stillwater, Springs, Montana, to restore dignity to the family name--I'm enjoying life on the Triple L with all my critters. And I'm working on book one in a new trilogy: The Texas McKettricks, which will be published early in 2010. Tate's getting his story told first, and his two brothers, Garrett and Austin, are bucking in the chute, impatient for their stories to be told.

At the end of the month, I'll pull on my dress boots and head out on tour to promote The Bridegroom, an August release. In this latest story in my Stone Creek series, undercover agent Gideon Yarbro is renowned for stopping outlaws almost before they commit a crime. But now he must stop a wedding, even if the bride--Lydia Fairmont--resists. You see, some years back Gideon promised young Lydia he'd come running if she ever needed help, and she has clearly sent him a plea to intercede. But, as it turns out, Lydia has had a change of mind since she sent that letter. She needs to go through with her wedding to a heartless banker, or she and her elderly aunts will lose everything. Determined to honor his word, Gideon carries her off to Stone Creek and makes her his reluctant bride. And then the real fun begins!

This cowgirl is thrilled to learn my tour to promote The Bridegroom will take me to Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the last weekend of July. During this "Daddy of 'Em All Rodeo," I'll be in the Buckin' A Tent signing on July 25 and in Barnes & Noble signing on July 28. You'll find all the details on my appearances page here on my Web site. If you go to the rodeo, do stop by and say howdy! And to all you readers in Oklahoma City and Reno, watch out! I'm comin' your way next!

I've launched my 2009 Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women competition. Each year I award $10,000 in scholarships to women age 25 and older who want to improve their lot in life through education. Unlike traditional scholarships, mine may be used not only for tuition and books but also for childcare, car gas and bus tickets--for most anything that stands between a woman and the education she desperately wants and needs. You'll find the rules and application right here on my site.

Thank you for your continuing enthusiasm for my books. I count you and my furry friends among my many blessings and wish you a glorious summer filled with family, friends and memorable times.
