I’m working today–glory hallelujah!
I celebrated New Year’s Day by puttering, practicing my sketching, thinking about my work-in-progress, “Big Sky River”, and sticking to my new food plan. 🙂 I’m not much for parties, especially the kinds that include paper hats and noisemakers and staying up late. I guess I’m just an old fuddy-duddy–I like to just hang out at home.
I’ll soon be offering three of my sister Pam’s beautiful bracelets as prizes on this blog, so keep an eye out. They’re gorgeous. If you’re curious, you can see them on Etsy, under the shop name, Polymer Pamela. I’ve mentioned Sister Sally before, and, recently, my aunt, Arlee Fairbanks. There are some seriously talented people in my family, and I’m proud to show off what they can do.
I’m really getting into this whole art journaling thing, and it pleases me now to look back at my earlier efforts, because I’ve made progress for sure. (Though I still have a very long way to go, but that’s part of the fun.)
If you live in or near Ellensburg, Washington, I’ll be there Saturday, May 18, to attend a Western art show and sign a few books. More details to follow.
It’s Wednesday, so I’ll be announcing this week’s autographed book winners sometime this afternoon.
Hope your new year is off to a great start!
