To paraphrase Mark Twain…

Tuesday, Mar 26

Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.  🙂
I was sick all last week, but a quiet weekend pretty much restored me.  (I did miss “West Side Story”, but Wendy and Jeremy came over and Jeremy whipped up a batch of tacos, so that cheered me up.)  Yesterday, all ready to blog, I tried to log on and found out I had no internet service!  Arrrggggh! None this morning, either.  Thank heaven, Chris came over and got us back up and running–service has been sketchy, so let’s hope it lasts.
Now that I’m feeling better, I’m writing again, and I’m back on my Food Lovers routine, too.
The renovations go on–and on.  (I’m told I’ll have my bathtub back by the end of the week.  Please, God.)  It’s not as if I’m suffering, for Pete’s sake–I merely have to cross the hall and use the guest bath, but, hey, I’m a creature of habit and I don’t like all this disruption.  We’re getting a lot of sunshine, though, so that makes up for a lot.  🙂
I’d best get back to work, but I wanted to check in with my blog-buddies.
Thanks for hanging in there.
