Another gloriously sunny day, and I’m soaking it in. The view through my office window is beautiful, though not a horse in sight at the moment. They must be on the other end of the pasture, munching on spring grass.
Bernice was here a few minutes ago, but she’s vanished again–she’s not used to the new office yet. 🙂
I had a good writing day yesterday and look forward to another…
“Big Sky Summer”, the next installment in the Parable/Three Trees series, will be out the last Tuesday of this month. I love the cover and, of course, the story, and I hope you will, too.
I’m planning to clean my craft room/studio this weekend–it’s bugging the heck out of me. Plus, there are no clear surfaces, which means I can’t glue and paint and all the other things I love to do.
The renovations, like the beat, go on. My bathroom is usable again, though still under some construction. It’s trying at times, but the changes are worth it. My bathroom, for instance, is completely different–and so peaceful. It’s nice, too, not to have my writing computer set up in my bedroom anymore. The view was stupendous, since the alcove where I wrote overlooks the draw behind the house, but since I was facing eastward, I had to have the blinds closed until noon to keep the sun out of my eyes–when there WAS any sun. Mainly, though, I wanted the change because of the energy factor: working and sleeping in the same space is not, I have discovered, the ideal set-up for either one. 🙂 I have become very sensitive to the flow of energy–there’s a reason why feng shui has been around for thousands of years.
Which brings me back to the state of my craft room. The clutter has GOT to go.
