A big part of today’s blog got sucked into the black hole of cyberspace.
Errrrgh! This is a brand new computer, so I’m blaming the internet itself.
To recap what I wrote before, my great-nephew, Gibson, is doing well. I think he’s still in the hospital, but he’s been gaining weight steadily and is breathing on his own. His parents are devoted, spending lots of time with him.
I finished THE TALIBAN CRICKET CLUB, the novel I mentioned previously. It was sobering, but very, very good. I then started THE KABUL BEAUTY SCHOOL, a memoir, and I’m enjoying that, too.
Tomorrow is Weight Watchers day–I’ll update you when I get home from the meeting.
