Wow. Here’s my advice about that cold going around right now–don’t get it! It’s a lulu. I’m upright and fully dressed, so I see that as progress. 🙂 I spent my weekend recovering, listening to books (this time it was “The Sleepwalker’s Guide to Dancing” by Mira Jacobs. Thumbs up on this story–it was funny, touching, instructive and well-written), and recovering some more. I did exercise throughout–seemed to make me feel better, though I must have looked a sight peddling along in my pjs with my hair sticking out in every direction. Bernice and I made a quick run to Target on Saturday–I was hoping to grab the new Tony Robbins book after hearing an interview on a podcast, but wouldn’t you know, they didn’t have it. Drat. I consoled myself with a little retail therapy and then the dog and I buzzed back home. Thanks to one-click, Tony’s on his way as we speak. 🙂
The new winners are: Stephanie Lazrine and Marie Anne–congratulations, ladies. You’ll be receiving an autographed book very soon. As for the rest of you, well, keep trying. All you have to do is comment, and your name will be in the hat for next week’s prizes.
Happy Birthday, Jean Barrington! Jean and I have been dear friends for longer than some of you have been alive, and I cherish our years (decades) of hanging out in good times and bad. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve yelled. Love you, Jeanie Beanie, even though I still think you’re politically misguided. 🙂
Still enjoying the Half Size Me podcast, “Real Ghost Stories Online” and “Tips of the Scales”. Good information and lots of encouragement.
That’s about it for today, my friends. See you tomorrow–I hope. 🙂
