First, though, a happy birthday wish to my nephew, Jerome Lael. He’s 16 today! Hard to believe–they grow up so darn fast.
Mom is still coughing, and I’ve asked her doctor to refill her antibiotics Rx, and also to make sure she’s getting enough oxygen. She’s resting comfortably in my guest room and eating better, which is progress. Thank you for your prayers and good wishes; we both appreciate all the love you can send our way.
My ankle is much improved, though still a little swollen. I have to be careful on uneven ground, and when I get too tired, I wear a brace. Don’t want to molly-coddle it too much–you might say I’m being cautiously active. 🙂
Tomorrow is my birthday, and I will be 66 years old. Amazing. I don’t feel any older than 35 most of the time!
I have Weight Watchers in the morning and hope to do a little better than last week–I’ve been very, VERY good. 🙂
