A couple of weeks ago, the women at my church gathered for a fun evening—a Potato Buffet and an evening of crafting.
I’ve always enjoyed baked potatoes, but this was a whole new approach—the potatoes were provided, but the rest of us brought things to add—bacon bits, chopped onions, a sauce with broccoli, butter and sour cream, of course, and a whole slew of other tasty additions. The meal was delicious, and the company was a delight.
We laughed and talked and got to know each other.
The crafting part was fun, too. We made Christmas cards and gift tags mostly.
The best part?
Being together.
