Gardening—Sort Of

I have a nice deck behind the house, and I’ve started a little gardening project.

Today I planted bok choy (I love to make wonton soup), lettuce, green onions, and miscellaneous flower seeds, all in colorful grow-bags.  I also have three little pots in which sprinkled seeds for cherry tomatoes.

Basically, I’m growing a continuous supply of salad. J

Imagine, planting vegetables outdoors in November.

            An inconceivable idea in Spokane, where it will be snowing soon, if it hasn’t begun already, but in sunny southern California, it’s not unusual at all.

So, once things start sprouting, I’ll post some pictures.
