I Saw It On Pinterest….

Thursday, Sep 08

OK, I confess.  I am ADDICTED to Pinterest!  I have boards for art, home remedies, cute animals, and about a jillion other things, some of which ought to be combined, but I haven’t the faintest idea how to do that.  Any suggestions?  My favorite discovery to date is bullet journals.
I know.  Say what?  (No, they are not journals for recording scores at your local shooting range, although you could do that.)  I use mine to track weight loss, writing quotas, and other such things, but the possibilities are literally endless.  Check them out on Pinterest, bulletjournal.com, and Youtube, and you’ll get a good overview.
In other news, you will note that we haven’t offered a contest this week, and there won’t be one next week, either, because Super Jen got married on September 3, and now she’s on her honeymoon.  She and her wonderful groom, Dustin, got hitched on my front lawn, and let me tell you, Jen was the most beautiful bride EVER.  I’ll be posting a few pictures when she gets back.  In the background was my EXCELLENT gazebo, built by the equally excellent Doug Willponin, our handiman and dear friend.  (You’ll see pictures of the gazebo, too.)  Doug not only designed the gazebo, he cut and planed the logs for it, and they’re all from the Triple L.  Besides the gazebo, Doug built me an honest-to-goodness buckboard for Christmas last year, and now it’s proudly displayed out front as well.  Pictures forthcoming.
