Well, it’s crazy around here today, that’s for sure.
As I write this, a new wood floor is being installed in an upstairs room–lots of pounding and sawing–and a big tree in the back yard is being cut down. Both are GOOD things, of course, but pretty darn noisy. Sure glad I finished “Big Sky Secrets” over the weekend–did some polishing and revising–because it is impossible to concentrate with all that’s going on.
You should see my to-do list–the stuff I’ve been putting off so I could get the writing done. And this is my Time Off. 🙂 I plan to be working on the new book by Monday morning–making a quick trip to Oregon this weekend to spend time with Sister Sally and her family and, hopefully, catch my breath before diving right back into storyland.
Not that I’m complaining–I feel SO much better these days, and I LOVE telling stories.
Connie Johnson, please send your snail-mail address to Jenni at [email protected] so we can mail out your prizes.
That’s all for today, my friends.
Be kind.
