Literally.
Not an hour ago, a wind came racing up through the draw behind my house and swelled beneath the giant umbrella atop my outdoor table to send it flying. In the process, the glass top of said table shattered into a billion pieces! Fortunately, no pets or plants were harmed. Just another crazy morning on the Triple L. 🙂
Yesterday I went to have my CPAP machine adjusted, but I still got quite a lot of writing done–alas, though, no blog.
Wendy and Jeremy have decided to make it official in the fall of 2013, so there are a lot of exciting wedding plans in the offing–just picking out the dresses, it turns out, is a monumental process, but it’s lots of fun. There are some bridesmaids’ dresses out there that–well–it’s hard to believe anyone would make a good friend wear one, in public, even for one day. Others are timeless and beautiful. Decisions, decisions. Wendy and Jen (my niece/assistant) are primed for the hunt, starting this weekend. I’m glad (our secret) that all I’m expected to do is pay for everything. 🙂
I’ll be back on the D.I.E.T. soon. No particular weight or size goal in mind–I just want to feel better and have more energy. Since someone will inevitably ask, the program I’m on is BistroMD. I’ve used it before, and found it painless and largely delicious–I’ll miss the red wine, though. 🙂
Well, there is glass to sweep up and a book to write.
Have I told you lately that I appreciate you very much?
I do.
God bless and keep; see you tomorrow.
