Where have I been?

Wednesday, Mar 23

The answer to the above question is: writing!  My Civil War novel, tentatively titled “North of Eden”, is flowing fast and furious.  I’m loving every minute!
This week’s winners, who should have been announced on Monday, are Debbie Bleege and Patricia Drennen.  Each will receive an autographed copy of “Once a Rancher”, my new book, which will be available on March 29.  I’m also tucking in a purple Complaint Free World bracelet as a little extra.  A new contest is underway, and winners will be chosen at random, notified, and announced here on the blog, hopefully on Monday.  🙂  Each will receive an autographed book and a bracelet.  All you need to do is comment, and you’re entered.
I’ve been listening to plenty of audiobooks lately, mostly suspense novels.  I’m currently occupied with “No One Knows”, by J.T. Ellison.  I’ve also enjoyed “And She Was”, by Allison Gaylin.  I love her series character, Brenna Spectre, who suffers from a strange condition that causes her to remember every moment of every day of her life, from age 11 on, in perfect detail.  I’m thrilled to have discovered a new favorite, and plan to listen to several of her other books.  She weaves a compelling story and keeps me guessing right up to the end.  I’m looking forward to Harlen Coben’s new one, “Fool Me Once”–I am a big fan of Mr. Coben, along with Linwood Barclay.  As I’ve said, I’m audible.com’s best customer.  🙂   Not sure if I’ve ever mentioned this, but if you’re new at Audible, you can get your first book absolutely free.  You can’t beat a deal like that!
That’s the news for today, my friends.
I’ll be back soon.
