This week’s winners are Joanne Balinski and Sharon Sovereign. Both will receive an autographed book. As usual, the new contest begins immediately. For those of you who are new, you simply need to comment, and you’re entered. Two winners will be chosen at random, notified, and announced on next Monday’s blog.
I’ve had one of those good/difficult days–got plenty of writing done, but my new dog, Tule, is ill. It’s some sort of doggy flu, I’m told. Tule was a stray, flown up from California, where there is evidently an outbreak of the canine bug. He’s at the vet’s, getting fluids and antibiotics. He has to spend the night and tomorrow away from home, and that hurts my heart, but the most important thing, of course, is his health. Everybody’s optimistic, so I’m keeping my chin up, but I’m definitely worried.
Glad to report that my mother is doing better, now that she has a regular caregiver and is receiving her breathing treatments night and morning.
Sister Sally was a tremendous help while she was here. All three of my sibs are helping out, and I am so grateful.
More tomorrow, my friends.
