Well, it’s been crazy busy around here, and that’s why the blog has been a big sketchy lately.
This is the day! In a few hours, I leave for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, and I’m VERY excited–it’s always fun to watch all those cowboys walking away, if you know what I mean. 🙂 Then there’s the shopping over at Cowboy Christmas–yeehaw!!–an experience I always enjoy. Not to mention the rodeo itself–believe it or not, my favorite event is bullriding. (You’d think I would have noticed there weren’t any pickup men. :)) I’m mostly packed and ready to leave for the airport around eight a.m.
Jenni is going along and my cousin, Alisa (Lael) Fillion will be joining us tomorrow, traveling all the way from the D.C. area. This is her first finals rodeo, and she’s ready for fun.
I’m going to try to blog while in Vegas, but I can’t promise because for whatever reasons, I seem to have more than my share of technical difficulties whenever I travel. (Remember when my iPhone jumped down an elevator shaft in New York?) If I can’t blog, I’ll definitely tweet, and I’ll fill you in on the whole trip, either while it’s actually going on, or when I get back home.
Best get moving–I need way more coffee.
Be well, be blessed.
