Interlude

Wednesday, Jun 19

I’ve had a great writing day–yeehaw!
The contest begins–finally.  🙂
I’ll be giving away two copies of “The Lily and the Lotus” this coming Monday, along with signed copies of a Linda Lael Miller book.  All you have to do to enter is comment–I’d love to know why you want to read “The Lily”.  Be prepared for mind-blowing insights, but REMEMBER, this book, though not an attempt to convert anyone to one faith or the other, combines the wisdom of both Christianity and Buddhism.  I think it’s remarkable and, if anything, it only reenforced my (Christian) beliefs, but it’s full of wisdom, good ideas, and fun.  I’ll be blogging more about my experience with it later on.
I’ll also be blogging about the New York trip, but we’re all a little frazzled around here, due to a death in the family.  Also, the Canadian Wrangler took a spill from an ATV, and he’s okay, but pretty banged up.
Back tomorrow.
