Left to right, Jenni, me and Wendy, posing for a selfie at Spokane’s beautiful Manito Park. What a heavenly place! We enjoyed a picnic there yesterday, after Weight Watchers, and it was a wonderful experience. You can bet it was included in my gratitude journal. 🙂
We visited the lovely Japanese Garden, a prime place to meditate.
If I look happy, it’s because I am, the 2 pounds I gained over my birthday week notwithstanding. 🙂 They’re focusing on personal happiness and mindfulness at Weight Watchers, and I think that’s cutting-edge. There is so much evidence out there that a healthy weight is about so much more than food.
So here’s hoping this little put-a-picture-in-the-blog experiment actually works. (I’m using a different computer.) If I succeed at this, there will be lots of pictures in future blogs.
So. Did you start that gratitude journal yet? 🙂
