This week’s winners are Jeanine Tubbs and Ange. Congratulations, ladies. A new round is underway now, and all you have to do is comment to be entered. Two names will be chosen at random and the names announced next Monday.
Or Tuesday.
Today was Jenni’s birthday, and we celebrated with a lovely bundt cake and a whole lot of whoopin’ and hollarin’. 🙂
I’ve been reading (okay, listening) up a storm recently, and I loved the two books I’ve finished, “The Truth According to Us”, by Annie Barrows, who is the author of another favorite of mine, “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society,” and “In the Unlikely Event”, an adult novel by Judy Blume.
Tomorrow is Weight Watchers, and Wendy and Jenni and I are going on another picnic afterward, since we enjoyed last week’s visit to Manito Park so much. I’ve been getting in my exercise and, except for a small slice of bundt cake and a smidge of vanilla ice cream, I’ve done pretty well this week, food-wise. 🙂
We’ll see what the verdict is when I get weighed tomorrow.
