This week’s winners are: Kay Schock and Tammy Carter. Both of you will receive a signed copy of my new book, “Once a Rancher”, which will be on sale March 29. To enter next week’s contest, simply comment. Winners will be chosen at random and announced this coming Monday, right here the blog. The prizes are the same.
I spent today working on my Civil War novel, “North of Eden” (the title may change), and I’m feeling very tired and very happy.
I’m listening to an audiobook called, “Ghost Gifts”, by Laura Spinella. I’m enjoying the story a lot, and I recommend it to anyone who likes ghost stories. Clever story, well written.
My weekend was quiet, spent mostly with my furry family. As I’m writing this blog, Button the cat, age 20, is resting his chin on my wrist. He is so cute and so loving that it’s easy to forgive him for being a little stinky. 🙂 (OK, a lot stinky.) Wiki, the other cat, kept his usual low profile, except when it was time to eat. The dogs got gloriously dirty, playing in the rain and tromping through the flowerbeds. Last night, I had to toss both of them into the sink and hose them down, one by one. They were very indignant, but soon forgave me. 🙂
Mom will be moving to the new place soon, and she’s excited. It will be so nice to have her closer and know she’s getting the care she needs.
That’s today’s news, my friends. See you tomorrow.
