Winners, weight and the flu bug

Thursday, Mar 05

The current contest winners are: Connie Ayers and Colleen.  Both winners have received emails from Super Jen; your books are on their way, ladies.  Enjoy!  As always, there is a new contest underway right now; all you need to do to enter is make a comment.  Winners (who are chosen at random) will receive an email from Jen asking for snail mail info–to avoid misunderstandings, please note that if you don’t get an email from Jen, you didn’t win this time around.  Sometimes there are a number of entrants with the same or similar names and confusion ensues.  We don’t want any of you to be disappointed, so please make sure you understand the workings of this particular contest.
Yesterday was Weight Watchers–and I gained five pounds.  Considering that I was away for two weeks, that isn’t so bad, methinks.  So I’m taking this one on the chin like a good cowgirl and forging onward.  🙂  I was pretty active the whole time–wouldn’t you know, after wearing my Activelink (a little device that measures activity levels) every day, I somehow managed to lose the thing somewhere between Fort Lauderdale and Spokane?  I have a new one now, all fired up and securely fastened to my person.  🙂
Lastly, I’m going to be taking it pretty easy today because I’m feeling flu-ish–probably just travel fatigue, but I don’t want the malady to get worse.
The weather is beautiful here today; sunny and bright, though still bitingly cold.  (I admit it, I was spoiled by the warmth of Florida and the Carribean.)  Bernice and I took a little walk this morning and I nearly froze to death but I did enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, and I’m in gratitude mode for sure.
That’s today’s blog, my friends.  Stay warm, stay well, and be kind.
